Livio De March is originally from Venice; he has become interested in decorative sculpture since his childhood. He attended seminars on the Venetian tradition in sculpture, and graduated from the Accademia di Belle Arti in Venice. Livio De Marchi worked with marble and bronze, but his favorite material is wood. In his view, it is possible to convey the dynamics of the tree and forcing things to live a real life.
