Volumetric bags from Louis Vuitton, Spring-Summer 2010

Sometimes we forget that bag above all is a functional accessory. So, it should be comfortable and spacious, if necessary. The collection of these designer handbags is designed by Marc Jacobs, designer of Louis Vuitton.
One would think that Jacobs may have nothing to write: canvas “monograph” will do everything for him. However, using this, recognizable worldwide print, a designer comes up with something new every time.
His latest idea is huge bag-trunks, with which one can easily go on a journey or a weekend hike: they hold all the necessities. Color Collection pleases – it is dominated by touching pastel shades, made in the “frame” of light beige leather which considers to be the color of the comfort.

All parts are proportional to the size of an impressive accessory once again emphasizing the practical usage of the bag. All bags are equipped with long and wide-grip, the length of which can be individually adjusted. The top flap is fastened to the two massive buckles – such large fittings designed to balance all the elements of handbags’ design.
However, Jacobs did not forget about the need of the decorations. Long brush strips of leather, decorating bag, it seems, will be one of the elements of the future trend of the season, as encountered in the collections of other brand s. But fur tails can still be left on the podium – so as not to incur the wrath of animal protectors.
