Pucci Bags, Autumn-Winter 2009-10
The new collection of bags from Pucci is featured with bright colors and juicy, alive prints. This time the palette of traditional patterns of Pucci is inspired by grasping graphics of the arms and flags of the festival Palio in Siena.

Horse-race in Palio, on a main area of Pizza del Campo, has been arranged twice a year within several centuries. There are motley flags and arms in the streets of Siena, during a holiday, and bright colorings, which have just served as the basic theme for prints of Emilio Pucci.
Thus, Peter Dundas, the new designer of the brand, has decided to revive patterns from the well-known 1957 collection of Emilio Pucci called “Palio”.

The evening clutch-cases with an amazing gold decor deserve special attention. Smooth bends of metal furnish echo with the painted patterns surrounding a surface of a handbag. The same prints can be met also on flying tunics by Emilio Pucci.
This model of the clutch is also presented in a classical black-and-white variant.

One more lovely bagatelle from a new collection is the tiny clutch-purse of the convex form. The noble leather of a reptile and accessories of a gold shade give to this model a special aristocrat look.
It is necessary to note, that the size of bags from a new collection gravitates toward minimalism. It is either very small clutches in size of a palm, or small handbags on a metal chain.
