“Oscar Awarded” Clutches
The 81st “Oscar” awards ceremony took place on 22nd of February, it is a desired prize for everybody who has any relation to movie. However, besides discussing the best movies of the last year it is also an occasion for the celebrities to appear once more on the public in all their glory. Magnificent dresses, completed with different accessories were demonstrated on the red carpet.
Clutches to the dress color
Miniature clutches of rectangular shape were the leaders on the ceremony among the accessories. Many stars chose them just to suit the color of their dresses.
For example Melissa George was in a white dress by Dolce and Gabbana and with white clutch by Ferragamo.
Angelina Jolie completed her black dress with earrings and the ring with bright emeralds, but her bag was also black, by the designer Lana Marks. Though she didn’t get the statue this time, everyone valued the chic of her attire.
Diana Lane and Jennifer Grey also counted on the black satin.

Meril Stripp chose a designer handbag to the grey dress with open shoulders by Alberta Ferretti.

In Heidi Klum’s hands was a satin clutch of damask color, which toned with her hard-cut dress by Roland Mouret.
Emmy Adams also chose a similar color: A dress by Carolina Herrera, and an accurate clutch with a cover.
Contrasts
Some of Hollywood beauties played on the contrasts.
Taraji P. Henson, who was nominated for the “Oscar” for the first time, for the role in “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” picked a red bag to the magnificent white dress by Roberto Cavalli.
And Robbin Roberts chose a combination of the peach color dress and soft plum clutch.

The young star from the “The Slumdog Millionaire” Fraid Pingo chose a tiny silvery bag by designer Judith Leiber, which was an addition to her ultrafashionable bright-blue costume by Galliano.

Clutches and jewelry
Quite often the evening clutches were chosen in the correlation with jewelry. Alicia Keys’ silvery clutch was in ideal combination with the big ring on her finger.

As to Virginia Madsen, she chose a golden clutch with effective gold earrings by Laurie Rodkin and an asymmetric red dress by Kevan Hall.
