New Collection of Handbags Lulu Guinnes
Bags of Lulu Guinnes have always been bright and had bold design solutions. Neither the crisis nor the seasonality could influence her new collection of designer handbags Fall – Winter 2009/10 – they remain cheerful and positive.
In the summer collection of Lulu Guinnes the sea theme was featuring and the main heroes of the autumn collections were members of the cat family. Pictures of cats used as prints or appliqués sewn, the most creative model of handbags made in the form of a cat’s head – the designer turns to surrealism once again.
The graceful silhouette of a black cat decorates the surface of the restrained bag-basket. Lulu Guinness adapted this summer rigid form to fall season very successfully. The decorative appliqué is made of shiny lacquered leather, complementing black top and base bag. On the reverse side of the bag a little gray mouse is embroidered.
The basis of bags is made of dense textiles. It is the classic combination of red and black that provided the bag with a spectacular unpretentious appearance.
Another theme of the new collection of Lulu Guinnes is abstract prints. This time it was “scattered” on the surface of everyday women’s handbags all the necessary detail, here you can find the perfume, mirror, shoes and still the same cat silhouette.
The monochromatic model of bags of lacquered leather and textile are also presented in the collection.
