Hand embroidery is a classical art existing for many centuries and will never be out of date. Fine embroidered pattern is the best decoration for a dress, blouse, jacket, scarf… and of course for an evening bag. Mio Ricamo Italian bag is an excellent example of it.

The idea of evening bags with embroidery belongs to Catherine Kuzmina – a Russian painter, who has been living in Rome for many years. She studied graphic art, design, but chose embroidery. Catherine worked with numbers of tailoring shops of wedding dresses, made sketches and embroidery for such big fashion houses as Valentino and Cattinoni.

Then she made her own collections of evening bags, decorated with embroidery. Bags are mainly sold in Italy and Russia. She also organizes trainings for designers, who want to learn embroidery in the sphere of haute couture.

Mio Ricamo bags are extremely tender and feminine. The designer combines several techniques of embroidery, appliqués, glass beads, metal details making original models as grey satin flowers and placer of beads on black wash leather, or an appliqué in the form of butterfly on dark-blue satin, or a bag with patterns of beads like a luxurious necklace. Models of black wash leather decorated with embroidery in the form of small multicolored bunch look especially fine.
