Legendary Bag Kelly Hermes

In the catalog the bag was described as a “high bag in which the saddle, boots and other hunting accessories can be placed”. In the beginning of the 20th century this model, at last, started to have names, e.g. “Hermes”, “traveling female bag”, “High bag with a section”.
By the 50s of the 20th century the bag became the favorite accessory of many famous people, and not only women. The princess of Monaco and actress Grays Kelly are among the fans of this bag.
In 1956 pregnant Kelly hid her orbed tummy from the paparazzi with her favorite bag. The photo was published on the pages of a popular magazine Life. The same year the Hermes bag got its name Kelly.
The exhibition opened in Monte-Carlo is wholly dedicated to Grays Kelly. On the “Grays Kelly” exposition a separate hall tells about the Kelly Hermes bag.
The present-day Kelly has several versions, which differ by size and color, and are made of different types of leather.
