Intreccio Bag from Miu Miu
The word “intreccio” in translation from Italian means “interlacing”, but it can also have another meaning – “intrigue”. I think, that both words fully reflect character of this handbag from Miu Miu: its unusual texture looks, at least, intriguing.
The first idea which has come to me when I first saw this handbag, is that I’ve already seen something similar at Bottega Veneta: the same quiet form, the same natural color and the same texture reminding a wattle basket. However creation of Muccia Prada differs by special sensuality and tenderness, like the majority of bags, copied by Miu Miu.
Soft leather from which this volumetric and, probably, very capacious bag is made of, has a warm beige shade (it would be more correct to say – nude) and an impressive surface which I already mentioned. A hint on rustic work is confirmed by handles, as if they are made of carelessly twisted strips of leather also.
The accurate accessories have golden shade and consequently are almost imperceptible. Narrow belts on each side of the bag finished with small buckles play also a functional role. With the help of them the bag can be a little increased in volume.
In my opinion, it is very feminine item, capable to improve any modest and daily casual look. The cost of the bag is $1134.
