Collection of Bags by Joy Gryson for MCM
This season, Joy Gryson, – one of the most talented creators of designer handbags, introduced a new line of accessories specifically for MCM. Collection of bags, inspired by the Manhattan is cold MCM New York.
Presentation of the collection was held in New York on 5th Avenue during New York Fashion Week. Well known model Coco Rocha became the face of the new collection of bags MCM New York.
There are three basic styles in the collection, – Sportive, Notte and Giorno. Distinctive feature of the new line became the soft folds and pleadings, adorning the front surface and side of the bags.
Color MCM New York tends to balanced autumnal tones – muted green, unobtrusive burgundy, practical gray and black shades.
Joy Gryson, without changing his addiction to the classical style, focused on simple laconic forms and noble textures of expensive leather.
One of the most interesting models in this collection can be called this clutch-purse of burgundy shade. The front surface of the bag is decorated with decorative trim parts, through which passes braided leather plait overlapping with metal studs.
Incidentally, these bags will be sold only in a few stores in New York. Price range varies from 695 to $2800. The more expensive models are made of python skin.
