Burberry Bags: Timeless Classics
In a new collection of Burberry Spring-Summer 2009 rustic motifs dominate: pastel colors, soft fabrics, multi-layered forms. And major fashion accessories of “flowers” were bulky designer handbags with a classic pattern in the cell – this time in black and white.

Famous texture in the cell was patented by Burberry back in 1920 and has long been one of the symbols of the English style. Figure was repeatedly played up, brought in all sorts of options, but the designers Burberry are still looking for fresh options for reading. In the new creations of spring-summer 2009 classic cell, which was in a monochrome scheme, is intended for bags of soft bulk forms, comfortable, and therefore very popular.

Burberry Bags, spring-summer 2009
Spring-summer 2009 advertising campaign of the Burberry. The main face of the company’s new collection advertising was the British model Lily Donaldson. All other models for photo shoots, at the insistence of the head of Burberry house Christopher Bailey, were also selected among Englishwomen.
In addition, girls were accompanied by known young men of Britain: photographer Emily Hope, actor Alex Pettifer, musicians George Craig and Sam Beeton.

Filming took place in the idyllic surroundings of the town of Richmond-upon-Thames. Photographer Mario Testino has created an elegant rural pastoral, emphasizing the softness and true English style of the collection. Bright colors of nature and dresses of “gardeners” and “flowers” are shaded by three-dimensional black and white accessories.
