Designers suggest us closing our bags mere reliable in the new season. One fastener is not enough, obviously, it is better to lock it “on seven fasteners”, or to hide entrance to the bag under many-layered valves.
Decorative fasteners with keys are very rare in the design of bags; several brands use this part of design as a “brand mark”. As a rule, designer handbags are decorated with rivets with metallic locks or those covered with leather.
But in the coming autumn season, locks stopped being just modest rivets. Thus, Marc Jacobs gave the key role to the locks in the design of his bags.
In LV collection a clutch is represented, the valve of which is decorated with five metallic locks at the same time. This kind of “protection” prompts us that there must be something very valuable in the bag.
In the collection by Marc Jacobs the designer decorated the right surface of the youth bag with a big lock of golden shade.
Ralf Lauren suggests a cunning fastener with a lock for a feminine bag. In this case the decorative part looks strict and very representative.
One more direction represented in the collections of many designers is a complicated design of bags which supposes a great number of locks-zips and other metallic finishing.
Donna Karan offered an everyday version of a bag with several valves at the same time. In such a bag it will be difficult to find the entrance even for the owner, let alone the deliberate criminals.
